CHI Farms, Aviagen Mark 20 Years of Poultry Industry Partnership

CHI Farms Limited and poultry breeding company Aviagen have marked 20 years of collaboration aimed at improving poultry production and supporting Nigeria’s poultry industry.

The partnership has provided Nigerian poultry farmers with access to Arbor Acres breeding genetics and technical support to improve flock performance under local production conditions.

Over the years, the collaboration has expanded to include farmer training, knowledge sharing and closer engagement with customers, beyond the supply of breeding stock.

CHI Farms Managing Director, Dr Olatunji Olaitan Olaofe, said the anniversary reflected the company’s commitment to meeting market needs and delivering value to customers. He also appreciated Aviagen’s support and the trust of poultry farmers.

Aviagen’s Business Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Florian Blevin, said the partnership had helped make Arbor Acres genetics available to producers across Nigeria. He congratulated the CHI Farms team and expressed optimism about continued cooperation.

CHI Farms said it would continue providing breeding resources and technical solutions to support poultry productivity, food production and the long-term development of Nigeria’s poultry sector.
