Zichis Targets N540m Monthly Revenue After Feed Production Expansion

Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc says it is projecting monthly earnings of more than N540 million after increasing its animal feed production capacity and expanding its farming operations.

The company’s Executive Director for Finance and Strategies, Chris Ogbaisi, disclosed this during a meeting with financial journalists on Tuesday. He said the company’s animal feed mill, which initially produced two tonnes per hour, has now been upgraded to five tonnes per hour and has started full operations.

According to him, the upgraded facility is expected to produce about 1,200 tonnes of feed monthly, translating to about 40,000 bags. He said each bag sells for between N13,500 and N14,000, which could generate more than N540 million in monthly turnover.

Ogbaisi also said the company has started clearing a 2,000-acre farm estate to expand crop production and support its feed business. He added that the new feed mill, poultry operations and farmland expansion are expected to improve the company’s financial performance in 2026.

The development comes as the company’s shares recover on the Nigerian Exchange after several days of decline. Ogbaisi said the earlier drop in share price was partly due to profit-taking by investors.
