Atlanta, USA is set to host the 17th International Feed Regulators Meeting (IFRM) on January 29-30, 2024. Co-organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF), the event will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) preceding the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

Scheduled to commence at 9:00 on Monday, January 29, and concluding at 15:00 on Tuesday, January 30, the meeting aims to facilitate discussions among regulators and feed industry professionals from around the world. The event provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and the exploration of concrete strategies to ensure the production of safe and affordable feed and food on a global scale.
A reception hosted by IFIF is scheduled for Monday evening, fostering networking opportunities for all delegates. Following the International Feed Regulators Meeting, on January 31, FAO will organize a workshop on the FAO-led Multi-stakeholder Partnership on Capacity Development for Feed Safety.
Participation in the meeting is by invitation only for IFIF members and officers from national and regional government competent authorities responsible for animal nutrition and animal feed. Interested officials can contact feed-safety@fao.org for further information on participation.
It is important to note that participants are responsible for organizing and covering their own travel, accommodation, and visa expenses if applicable. The organizers express anticipation for another successful collaborative meeting and look forward to welcoming attendees in person to the 17th International Feed Regulators Meeting in Atlanta in January 2024.
