ALive4Climate Alliance Launches #SolutionswithLegs Campaign and COP28 Resource Pages

In a bid to elevate the importance of livestock in combating the climate crisis, the ALive4Climate Alliance has officially launched the #SolutionswithLegs campaign on November 29th, 2023. Simultaneously, the organization has opened its COP28 resource pages on the Whylivestockmatter.org website.

Last year, the website served as a vital resource hub during COP, sharing events, messages, and resources to amplify the voices of farmers, herders, pastoralists, and livestock allies. 

This year's campaign aims to drive increased funding and attention towards livestock as a sustainable and critical solution to the climate crisis.

As organized by the ALive4Climate Alliance, the campaign invites individuals to get involved in various ways. Interested parties can download shareables and social media information from the campaign's website. 

Additionally, a short video promoting the campaign is available for viewing.

The campaign encourages people to stay informed about COP28 events by visiting the dedicated resource pages on Whylivestockmatter.org. For those interested in adding events to the platform, they can contact Kristen Tam.

The organization also provides an array of resources and materials that can be downloaded from their website. Individuals looking to contribute additional resources, messages, or information are encouraged to reach out.

A key component of the campaign is the social media initiative #MyClimateSolution, which offers a platform for "frontline voices" to share their stories and solutions related to livestock. The initiative spans seven days, starting from November 30th to December 7th, aligning perfectly with the buzz of COP28. 

Participants can share their content on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook using the hashtags #MyClimateSolution and #SolutionswithLegs. Selected videos will be featured on the Why Livestock Matter website.
