Kano set to enjoy 40,000 jobs from Dairy Project

Dairy farm project to create 40,000 jobs

The Dairy Farm project to be located in Kano is set to start with 14,000 herds of cows that will produce up to 52 million liters of milk and create jobs for 40,000 people in Nigeria.

A delegation from the Danish Embassy in Abuja released this information during a kind visit to Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Muhammad Sabo Nanono in Abuja

The envoys, chaired by Danish Ambassador Jesper Kamp, said the purpose of the meeting was to acquaint the minister with past mission activities in the Nigerian agricultural sector.

Kamp assured the ministry that the embassy would repeat the project in other northern states.

In his speech, Nanono promised full support and cooperation from the ministry.
