FarmCrowdy launches its first subsidiary, Farm Gate Africa

In a bid to bridge the gap between farmers, processors and buyers, FarmCrowdy has launched its first subsidiary company. It also seeks to be the meeting ground for rural farmers and international boundaries without the hassles of communication gaps.

In the company’s launch, Kenneth Obiajulu, the Managing Director and co-founder of FarmGate revealed this in his speech. He also state that the FarmCrowdy had received a lot of calls from buyers seeking to invest in market access to agro-products but are restricted by the unstructured nature of the market place. This is a problem that FarmGate seeks to solve using technological and innovative techniques.

He also expressed his joy at the launch of the company, describing it as an avenue to solve agricultural problems through technology which is the vision of the FarmCrowdy Group. The company, for the next two years will pour its resources majorly into developing markets across Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
