A partnership between Evonik industries and Halchemix Canada to put forward Evonik’s methionine rumen-friendly product called Mepron in Canada is underway.
Mepron is described as a superb source of methionine which will aid farmers in recording better milk output and reduce general cost of production by reducing feed costs.
It also helps in facilitating better health for animals by improving liver function, lower inflammation as it is rumen-friendly, higher dry-matter intake and in balancing the amino-acid portion in animal feed rations. All these will collectively result in better yields for the farmers in ensuring higher weights of weaned calves.
As is detailed in the agreement, Halchemix Canada will become an exclusive distributor of the product in Canadian markets.
