There has also been a 6% increase in the number of adults consuming vegan foods since 2017. It was also revealed that 30% of meat consumers have since reduced their meat intake.
Founders of Mosa Meat, a meat company that produces lab-grown meats, Mark Post and Peter Verstrate have also revealed that the awareness of consumers about environmental and health factors could spur lab-grown meats into totally replacing traditionally produced livestock meats in the coming years.
