FMARD set to empower young Nigerians in Sustainable Livestock Agriculture

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Nigeria in partnership with Synergos - an organization using a systems-change approach to reorient and strengthen key state actors involved in the transformation of the agricultural system - is hosting an Agriculture Boot Camp on Livestock Farming in Nigeria, Youth Farm Laboratory #YFLab.

The Boot Camp - Youth Farm Laboratory - is designed to give interested young Nigerians aged 18 - 35 years an opportunity to become livestock entrepreneurs at no cost after participating in the comprehensive training, practical sessions and provided with the start up needs.

Youth Farm Lab was announced on the 14th of March 2018 on Twitter via @YouthFarmLab, @FmardNG and @SynergosSPA twitter handles and has since been generating buzz from young nigerians who has been asking numerous questions for clarification about the program.

The registration for #YFLab Boot Camp is announced to be in 3 batches scheduled as follows:

Batch 1: Opens March 14th, 2018 and closes March 21st, 2018
Batch 2: Opens 26th March, 2018 & closes 2nd April, 2018.
Batch 3: Opens 9th April, 2018 & closes 16th April, 2018.

The Boot Camp which has been scheduled to be hosted in Ogun and Lagos State is designed to accomodate just 50 participants per batch and interested Nigerians are encouraged to apply online via this link: REGISTER HERE
