The 9th GGAA Conference, held from October 5 to 9, 2025, united more than 500 scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society voices to explore innovative solutions for reducing livestock emissions while ensuring food security and sustainable rural livelihoods.
Co-hosted by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO), the event marked a turning point for agricultural research and collaboration. Discussions focused on balancing the urgent need to curb greenhouse gases with the equally vital mission of building resilient, productive food systems across the developing world.
