Long-standing
partner, Allflex has been chosen by world’s leading food company Nestle to
champion its cause in the welfare of dairy cattle.
The partnership with Allflex
provides Nestle the necessary means to monitor the welfare of individual cows
and the herd as a whole using a predetermined set of key performance indicators
(KPIs).
Allflex’s
website (scrdairy.com) describes the SenseHub solution as a sophisticated,
modular cow monitoring solution that delivers actionable information on the
reproductive, health, nutritional and well-being status of individual cows and
groups. SenseHub is already been used in various Nestle vendors’ farms in
different geographical locations.
In
his statement, C.E.O Antelliq, the parent brand of Allflex, Stefan Weiskopf
expressed his company’s excitement in extending its partnership with Nestle, a
partnership which began in 2014 when Allflex was chosen to monitor cow welfare
in the Dairy Farming Institure in China. He described Nestle as a company that
shared Allflex’s belief in the importance of cow well-being as an element in
responsible production of milk-based food products.
